Business Development Rep - Chicago, IL
Catalyst Technology Group, Inc. (www.catalysttg.com), a leading provider of IT managed
services and outsourcing, currently has a position open for Business Development
Representative in Chicago, IL. Based in Indianapolis, IN
with a presence in Naperville, IL, Catalyst Technology Group offers affordable network
management, security services, and consulting services targeted to small-to-medium
sized businesses.
Position Summary:
The primary goal of this position is to generate a new business client base in
the Chicago area.
Sell information technology solutions which include hardware/software, professional
services, managed services, and outsourcing.
Build and manage a client base in the Chicago area from the ground up by selling
Catalyst's services and utilizing available company resources.
Work with Catalyst management and subject matter experts to develop account
strategy, close contracts, and maintain excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Sell Catalyst services to small-and-medium size businesses in Chicago and suburbs.
- Maintain excellent client service.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and staffing request projections.
- Continually build opportunity pipeline.
- Achieve one million dollar sales quota.
- Discover client business needs and propose appropriate solutions.
- Work with key partners to drive associated product revenue.
- Successfully negotiate contracts.
Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- 1-2 years information technology sales required
- Strong network and consulting sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft, Cisco, Computer Associates, and HP/Compaq product lines
- Relationships with clients in Chicago area
