Intuit and Microsoft plan to create new opportunities for small businesses to purchase Web applications through the Intuit App Center. The partnership will deliver solutions to the millions of employees within businesses that use QuickBooks financial software.

A simple click from the QuickBooks Pro and Premier 2010 toolbar takes you to the Intuit App Center where you can find, buy and use Web-based business applications that can also be accessed via any Web browser.

With Workplace Apps, small businesses can sync Quickbooks and many useful web-based applications to operate more efficiently. Not only can you optimize inventory investments with the EZ Analytics app, for example, but you can reduce time spent on data entry because the applications share information with each other. Therefore, when you add new customer information in one app, the other apps are automatically updated as well.
